Sean Samarasinghe
As a dynamic and visionary corporate leader with a passion for financial excellence, Sean founded Magna Fortuna Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, the parent company of Magna Fortuna Capital. He embarked on a journey to lead a conglomerate of companies specializing in personalized investment strategies. Sean pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB Hons). Building upon his academic achievements, Sean embarked on a career as an investment analyst, overseeing the portfolios of high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. Seeking to expand his knowledge and expertise, Sean pursued a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Immersed in the study of public policy, economics, and government affairs, he acquired a comprehensive understanding of the intricate complexities of public administration. Founded by Sean and under his leadership, Magna Fortuna Holdings, the visionary parent company of a diverse portfolio of successful enterprises, is at the forefront of driving innovation and growth in Sri Lanka, catalysing the nation’s transformation into a thriving hub for international business and investment.

Rajpal Kumar Obeyesekere
Mr. Rajpal Kumar Obeyesekere is a highly accomplished individual with an extensive background in trade and commerce. He currently serves as a director of Magna Fortuna Capital (Pvt) Ltd and holds the prestigious position of Founder and Director of the Stassen Group of companies. Additionally, Mr. Obeyesekere brings his expertise to the hospitality industry as a Director of Lanka Hotels and Residencies, particularly Sheraton Hotels. His impressive career spans over 38 years, during which he has held directorial roles in various prominent companies such as Hatton National Bank, Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka, and Ambewela Products. Notably, he has also contributed his leadership skills to public service, serving as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment and the Deputy Chairman of the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation. Mr. Obeyesekere’s vast experience equips him with valuable insights into strategic management and operational efficiencies, making him a trusted figure in the business community. His involvement in diverse sectors, including finance, hospitality, and infrastructure, highlights his versatility and breadth of expertise.
